  The Grand is a picturesque 45+ active adult community by Del Webb, situated in the northwest valley of Phoenix, in Surprise, Arizona. More personal and quaint compared to Sun City or Sun City West, The Grand still delivers the full spectrum of leisure activities one would expect from a Sun City. Our grand opening was in October 1996, and we completed our final residence in December 2005. Tailored for retirees, The Grand is replete with an extensive variety of amenities, facilities, clubs, and special interest groups.
